Studies in American Fiction

"Studies in American Fiction" is a scholarly journal of articles and reviews focused on the prose fiction of the United States. Founded by Professor James Nagel and edited by Professor Mary Loeffelholz, Studies in American Fiction was published by Northeastern University’s Department of English from 1973 to 2008. In future, Fordham University and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York will jointly edit and publish SAF; further information and updates will be available from time to time through the web site of Northeastern’s Department of English
