Abstract
Due to the banishment of asbestos usage in industry, research and experiments are being done using other combinations of materials to find a substitute for the asbestos. None of these new materials perform as well as the asbestos. Newly developed Graphite-Aluminum and Graphite-Brass composite plates showed suitable properties for a new break pad materials.
